During the "Text-paged Local Forecast" on the IntelliStar, notice on the next day (I.E. on Tuesday), the text say "Partly cloudy skies", but the Vocal Local mistakenly say "Mainly sunny", and usually the nighttime, the text say "A few passing clouds", but generally the Vocal Local say the reading, but eventually he says "A few passing clouds, otherwise generally clear".

That doesn't sound like an error. Sometimes the Vocal Local will be a tad dirrerent from the text, but that is on purpose.

It wasn't always like that. I first noticed issues like this happening in early 2007.

When I used to have an ISTAR and on current ones I've seen, extremely long text forecasts (usually for thunderstorms or winter storms) are not read word-for-word. And in some cases, the wording is changed a little to be more concise.

But in the instance above, the text and narration don't necessarily go together properly, so this could be an error...IDK.

In the early years, when the wet snow is expected during the "Text-based Local Forecast", Vocal Local used to read that text that's used for wet snow, but he doesn't read that text anymore. For example "1 to 3 inches of wet snow expected".

I've seen

Thunderstorms. A few storms may be severe, and produce large hail and damaging winds...

Yeah, I've noticed several phrases that the IS doesn't narrate anymore. I've pointed these issues out to the STAR team in the past several years, but never got a response.

While I wouldn't have a good explanation, it may be possible that they're trying to cut down on some of the narration. I have no idea why; the only reason I know narration is limited is when there is a lot to be read in very little time.

Unless you contacted someone from TWC that is a wild hunch :P the month hasn't even ended yet.

i got to thinking and saw this K Flavor this afternoon, it seems like the best one TWC has been airing lately (loads of content)

The Dominant K Flavor: 12:08pm EDT 8/16/2011

Browsing the new TWC Index (here is a link if you haven't seen it), I found this. I thought it was good enough to share, being that we think 30000's are a huge STAR ID number :P

By 'new' I meant not the XOAP. We sometimes still refer to the 2010-Present icons as 'new' sometimes, and that's what I meant by that ;) I've known about this for a while now. I just posted another link because I know some people don't know about it.
