I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

IMO, the daypart forecast really needs to be shown more. It only shows regularly at :28 after and there's too much emphasis on the regional maps. It's good to see them, but not on every single forecast.

I'm not sure if this is on all IntelliStars or some kind of experiment, but there is another new flavor I saw during the 4pm hour at 4:08 and 4:38, the moon data almanac is being used and the temperature data almanac is being used at :28 and :58. I haven't seen the moon data since June 2009. I actually like the idea of both versions being used.

Very interesting. I remember this idea had been floating around since at least 2006, so it's neat to see if they're going to implement it.

Philadelphia's FiOS STAR has had it like this since 2008 (since it uses its own custom flavors). Nice to see it's rolling out on other STARs too.

Yeah, as Mike said, FiOS STARs have always had this. And as Billy said, the STAR Team talked about this a few years back, but it was never rolled out nationwide. I'll see what I can find out about this.

My IntelliStar has it like that too.

Pittsburgh, PA IntelliStar

I've noticed that the Air Quality Forecast was changed from one reporting location to three on the Pittsburgh FiOS IntelliStar. I find it interesting that TWC has done something like this. Did anyone else receive this update as well?

I must've been out of the loop for a while. That's why I haven't noticed it until now.

Notice today, they skipped the Local on the 8s at 5:28pm ET, 5:58pm ET, 6:28pm, and 6:58pm due to Severe Weather Coverage.

On the weather.com multimedia page when I clicked on Dallas, TX, Vocal Local narrates "With a Strong Thunderstorm and Hail".
