TWC did not renew it's contract with Traffic Pulse, hence why all traffic products have bene pulled from tv, web, and mobile. There is a possibility TWC could find a new provider sometime next year.
I'm not that surprised... I knew TWC would stop using traffic.com eventually after the traffic overview problems and the removal of traffic on the LDL.

Interesting that they didnt renew.. does that mean the flow maps might return if they find someone else for a source?
I'd imagine that would take awhile to implement... the traffic pulse overview map was hard enough as it is. Besides, I believe Tyler or Martin said the overview map data was often outdated.

Good riddance.  The only thing I liked less about the traffic on the local forecast is when the local forecast began with the traffic products.

That was pretty weird and dumb. I saw that on the IS in Columbus. It's confusing, because the last time I saw the IS before then (2 years ago), all flavors started with the CC.

Is the School Day Weather/Outdoor Activity gone too? I don't see it at :48 during daytime or at :58 during other dayparts anymore, even without traffic now.

http://www.sigalert.com/Map.asp ?

On second thought, this may not surprise me. TWC already has a partnership with Westwood One/Metro Networks, the parent company of sigalert.com. We shall see...

my local NBC station WHDH-TV and SmarTraveler use the SigAlert based maps and Incidents/Speeds so i provided the link wondering if TWC might incorporate the same thing.

Just a heads up... I received a warning/strike from YouTube for having Walking Through by Kaya Project, which is affiliated with the company Love Cat Music. So I advise those who have this song up to remove it to avoid a warning.

Thanks for informing us, I couldn't remember if I had a video of it up, but I checked and deleted it. I already have 1 strike I don't need another one.

It appears that there's always a 48 hour local forecast no matter what now, even if there is precipitation. Is this true?

I will try to see if i can confirm this but Im sure that with traffic being gone for now that 24629 might actually be displaying a regional map! :o

Just to do something different, I'm thinking of doing a timelapse video of the storm moving across the country now using the IntelliStar similar to the video below except it'll include local/regional obs and the radar and that's it so each forecast clip wouldn't be any longer than maybe 40 secs. It's also only going to include conditions that are updated so it won't be every forecast from now until tomorrow night, I'm not that crazy.  :P This video would only be to show the storm evolving over our region the next 24 hours. Would anyone be interested in seeing it if I do it?
