The Intellistar combines phrases... hence why you sometimes hear very brief pauses between some words that you and I could normally say connected. For instance, "very warm". I know the Intellistar has the narration for flood warning (as I've heard it for the Flash Flood Warning tone, and "Flood Warning" is how it reads "Lakeshore Flood Warning").
If I understand your post, "very warm" is one phrase, not two seperate ones. Also, just because there is narration for "cooler near the lakeshore" doesn't mean there is narration for lakeshore flood warnings. There isn't just an audio file in the system that just says "lakeshore."

A couple of LF related things I don't get here.
If the Intellistar can read the word "lakeshore" when it is used in the phrase "cooler near the lakeshore", then why can't it read lakeshore when it is part of the phrase "Lakeshore Flood Warning"?

There is no Lakeshore Flood Warning. The Intellistar uses thousands of phrases. While its true they are broken up, they are not broken up by word. ie. cooler near the lakeshore is a singe file. It can't just choose a single word from it

I know this is very unlikely to happen ever, but if there's both a record low and a record high reached on the same day, would the IntelliStar show both record screens?

I strongly doubt it. The record screen has a low priority as it is. I don't think its configured to show two

Wow, that's the exact same 90 second flavor I saw in Port Huron. It's definitely different not seeing ANY traffic products on your local forecasts.
