When data is unavailable, it won't display. Additionally, they are also taken down for routine maintenance.

I hope they do play some new music because I'm getting tired of the same ol' songs over and over again.

The earliest the playlist can start is Sunday and the latest is next Friday imo.

Yeah I'm a little fed up with this playlist too....I'm too lazy to dig up the song that seems to play 50 times a day, but this is always the first song I hear when I tune to a local forecast for some reason....

Also, why is the Mermaidman and Barnacleboy song on the playlist?

No offense, but you guys are kind of overreacting to this. It's just a music playlist, and the majority don't tune to TWC just to listen to LF music.

Remember how every playlist in late 2009 was constantly delayed or late?  Well, the trend is your friend here, and I'm expecting more of the same in 2010.  We're just going to have to wait it out now.

You may recall the late 90's when TWC would have quarterly, 3 month playlists (sometimes even longer) which consisted of only 10-12 songs. No dayparts either. At least right now it's not as bad - with 40 songs and different playlists for different parts of the day.

In the early 90's, the playlists were almost a year long.  I think that the music side is swamped with so many songs and time slots to fill as we discussed earlier in this forum.

Yeah, but the songs they picked then were decent enough that you wouldn't care that it played for several months, I never liked this playlist since it started in November. If it had of been any other playlist besides this one I wouldn't mind it playing this long. I always mute the volume when the LF comes on or go online to get the forecast.

Okay clearly, quite simply put, it's NBC being lazy... no matter how you see it. They obviously have other things on their agenda... being as large a corporation as they are, finding ways to make money, stay a profitable company, and increase ratings. It's obviously not like it was before NBC took over (nor will it likely ever be) at TWC, and to see the LF music be extended in coverage time like this seems inevitable. The people behind the scenes at TWC know that there used to be quarterly and yearly playlists, and they are using that as a justification to not configure new playlists.

The things that I have said here may sound debatable, but honestly, that's how I see it. We all know our ranting and wishing will not solve anything, so the most any of us can do is hope that a new playlist comes about.
