It only shows the Severe Wx screen if there's Flash Flooding, tornado, and severe thunderstorm watches/warnings.
Okay. I guess I'll have to wait a while before I see one of those.

I thought this was an interesting find.......
Spanaway, WA Intellistar (December 2008 Cold Weather)

Notice how the CC displayed on the LDL is different than what is used on the front page, and the use of 3 cities for the AQ forecast. I thought that was only southern California, up until this point apparently.

Wow, nice find on the 3-city AQ forecast. Thought that was only available in SoCal these days.

On a second note, has the Outdoor Activity/School Day forecast been discontinued from regular usage? I haven't seen this screen at all since the summer. I used to see it all the time on the one minute and :08/:38 LFs. Even the non-traffic STARs rarely show it anymore. I'm lucky to see it here once in a blue moon at :28 and :58 but that's it.

Oh, I'm still seeing them. Not seeing the school day forecast right before the morning daypart like I used to though.

Radar is out as of this morning, not sure for how long though.

Also, the radar was frozen toward the end of the 11:00 AM EST hour on Friday

EDIT: Radar is back, but only one frame is available. Same case for the sat/rad too. Haven't decided if I want to upload a clip of it or not.

Anyone want to guess when the Christmas playlist will start? I'd have to guess this coming Monday (December 14th).

I would assume it starts 10 daze before Christmas (which in this case would be Tuesday, the same day TWC is going digital here).

Has anyone's LOT8s been having a rather staticy sound this morning? In the past few LFs I've been hearing static for a second or so on some of the screens, particularly the CC and traffic products.

I remember how big of a problem this was back in 2005, and now it seems to be back.

Hmm, I haven't heard any buzzing of that sort. I suppose I could look through my clip this morning.

What causes that buzzing sound or static on the LF?  Is it just interference with something?
