Where I live I think HiRAD is not needed because Toledo Suburban airport gives new observations every 1 to 3 minutes.
Wish I had a WeatherSTAR 4000. Brings back memories.

Mike, as I look at the satellite image, I think I found the location of your Intellistar unit:

1250 Berlin Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ
(856) 354-1660

Hope this helps

I know, I see that. I can't seem to find any satellite dishes on it though.

It's not far from where my relatives in Voorhees live, I don't think there are many it's just mainly a 1 story buliding. Looks mainly like a office but I don't remember seeing any units there.

You know, I've been curious as to where my headend is as well.. The bill says its "Comcast of Scotts Valley", however I do recall seeing a rather large comcast building in Santa Cruz, which would make more sense. Also, if my Intellistar was based out of Scotts Valley, the config is shifted way too far south.

I've been to Washington, PA and my grandma living in Mcmurray told me that the Comcast service there is excellent.
Wish I had a WeatherSTAR 4000. Brings back memories.

The Comcast headend in my area is in Pleasantville, but on the shore communities it just lists A.C Boardwalk as the reporting site. In the mainland, it just says Atlantic City.

Well, I seem to be lucky in this case. I know right where my STAR is. My headend serves a very large area, and everything is disproportionate here too. People in Eaton Rapids 10 miles to the SSW and Ionia 30 miles to the WNW see the same info I do. I am not sure where the E.L. STAR is though, can't seem to figure that one out.

Haha, I must have the smallest headend because mine only serves Hillsborough County. :bleh:
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Yeah that's what I saw too. I'll make a call first, and if that doesn't help I'll take a drive there.

Nevermind, 21872 is back!  Looks like it had to be rebooted, as it's missing some data.

Also, if my Intellistar was based out of Scotts Valley, the config is shifted way too far south.

Your IntelliStar is Scotts Valley. When there is a Current Conditions outage on the IntelliStar, the headend location will appear on the Current Conditions page, like in this video:

Yeah, that's the headend location. The backup for HiRAD are the NWS observation sites.
