Just wondering if anyone else is surprised that TWC is still playing the electronic music without many vocals. I know it's not an official playlist, but I'm happy that this selection of music is lasting this long.

Electronic music? The only song close to electronic that I can think of is Solar Sailer...

She probably means the new age and stuff. I hope it lasts this way, for once I don't have to mute the tv whenever the lf comes on

It doesn't seem like to me they're using dayparts anymore, it seems like most of these songs play at any time of the day now......

Yep, I meant the new-age stuff like "Rushing" and "Sunspot" because I wouldn't classify those as jazz (and iTunes categorizes them as electronic  ). I'd take those songs over a daypart with the previous vocal music. Mainly, I'm just surprised that these nice songs continue to play well after Isaac.

I like how the music is all instrumentals now and such, but I'm most certain that the vocal music will return to TWC sooner or later, unless the network eliminated the vocal music in response to the cries and criticism from the long-time viewers.    I guess we'll just have to find out what happens next, won't we?

That will never happen.  NBC doesn't really care about the die-hard weather fans anymore.  It's more profitable to market to the longform program fans instead.

4:08am was the only vocal song that played, i haven't heard any since either.

You didn't mention the title of the song in that post, so how was I supposed to know?
