Do any of you think there will be future Weather STAR technologies?

I think so...because I can't see the intellistar sticking around for like 50 years. but for the mean time, I do believe the IS is sticking around for a while, until more better technology comes out.

My take-the IS is so versatile and expandable that IMO they can easily get another 10-15 years out of it, maybe even more. It just depends on how long its hardware lasts. As with past STARS, I'm sure the IS too is going to show signs of degradation as it begins to age. Its not a matter of if I don't think, just when.

Umm, the local HD Weatherstar is still in development, the satellite LF is a system aside from the HD IS.

Its no longer in development. TWC has a contrat with a cable provider and everything. Trust me, if it were still in development, they wouldn't be rolling it out.  :sunglasses:
