Emergency Feed appeared at 11:53AM ET when the microphones weren't working. The old "Morning Rush" theme , the WCL theme and the WUWA theme rotated as music during the Emergency Feed. It lasted until the LOT8s at 11:58AM ET.

Feed looks like it went down around 9:45am EDT today.. technical difficulties message appeared for Directv.. and here is a screencap from Comcast..

I'd much rather watch the emergency feed repeat over and over again than watch "Highway Thru Hell," "Fat Guys in the Woods," or whatever else the powers that be consider to be "worthwhile entertainment" on The Weather Channel.

saw the emergency feed right after the local on the 8s at 12:28 pm eastern us time today.
