DirecTV Local Forecast not showing?

I have DirecTV at my dad's house (I also have the XL and 4000, but those are at my mom's house). This morning I watched two Local on the 8's, the 5:48 and 5:58 am locals (I'm up that early because I'm getting ready for school), and instead of the DirecTV LF, it just had the HD satellite forecast. Did DirecTV discontinue their local forecast or is this just a temporary error? Does anyone else here have DirecTV and are they getting this issue?

Have you tried resetting your DirecTV receiver?

It's not a temporary error. This pretty much happens to most direcTV users, like me. Like beanbo said, resetting your receiver will do the trick.

At often times, if your LF isn't showing on DirecTV, it's likely that someone pressed exit on the remote.

yes it disables the DirecTV LF
