Since last week, I've noticed that the IntelliStar in my area is cued 1 second late, the narration/voice-over is loud and the music is quieter (like at a CD quality mode).
MikeM2010, Victor (Slingbox), Tyler, Chris, and Matt also noticed it.
I'm guessing this has to do with the recent sun outage last week.
-
I doubt it is related to the sun outage problem. The problem is national, so it is most likely something messed up at TWC network control.
-
I seem to recall a similar sound issue almost exactly a year ago. Watch any intellistar video from mid-October to early November 2007, and you'll see what I mean.

Add me to that list. My STAR has the same problem (21873)
-
I have been noticing that for a while too.
-
Well, at least I don't have the real IntelliSTAR, but 24131 is technically an IntelliSTAR.

It still doesn't make sense. :dunno:

"At least" doesn't really make sense in that context. Try something like "It may not be a normal IntelliSTAR..."
-
I noticed issues with intellistar last night as well, and I still am. I didn't know it could have been national, I thought it was just with my headend.

Notice in the video above, at 2:40, the Home Depot commercial says "Home Depot would like to give you a little present" before the narrated text about the snow comes on! :P
Also here is another problem I have been noticing, which has only happened tonight, since about 4:30 PM EST

This must have only been with my headend.
-
That's your cable box / the headends modulation of the channel, its not TWC or your IS. If you have a STB check the cabling going from the box to the wall. This happens to me when I knock the jack loose.
-
And if its not your STB, I would guess that it's the CC headend havin some problems
-
Can I give you some advice on something, socool375? You can't use the embedding code on these forums, however if you paste the youtube url, it'll autoembed the video for you, so it's not a huge pile of mess of a post. just a suggesting :)

The problem with the screen going bad must have been the headend, because the problem was fixed 2 or 3 hours later and is fine now.
