I was in Archbold, Ohio yesterday and discovered a Weather Star JR- one of very few left in the country today. The observation site is Defiance, OH, a neighboring city to to Archbold in northwest Ohio. Cable provider is R Tec Communications, a local telecommunications provider. STAR ID is 16886. Enjoy!!

Nice catch, Matthew! I really think there are more legacy STARs still in existence than many people may guess. They're not all going to disappear right away.

I agree, probably in the Plains where the population is low.... and other smaller cable companies, like this one.

Awesome find, but in the 2nd video, the STAR's text seemed to be bouncing around a bit. Was the Jr like that, or was it just the camera?
