Awesome find! This may be one of the closest 4000's to my area.

Do you know the cable company that serves that area? I know most 4000's seem to have trouble displaying the cable company logo so it may be hard to find out.

That 4000 looks like it's still in pretty good shape.  The pictures suggest that there's not much degradation at all.  How did you even find this one, Zach?

It just skipped the CC screen, but had an LDL at the beginning with the Satellite LF just now.

Good catch! This seems to be a pretty healthy 4000, not many still show cable company logos correctly because of how severely distorted they are.

I'm starting to now see signs of degradation :(

Attached is a picture of the radar banner. It has a gray bar atop.

And I spotted a green LDL overlaying the Satellite LF.

A lot of 4000's have always had that grey bar. It's not degradation AFAIK.

That's a somewhat common occurrence for the 4000. It's been happening for years.

Damn, this is the second 4000 I've seen confirmed in Virginia as of today.

It's from Wakefield, VA

Btw, here's the K Flavour before I started seeing that weird LDL overlaying the Satellite LF:
