Title: A local forecast without music?
Post by: Localonthe8s on March 22, 2008, 05:22:49 PM
The only reason TWC has music is to complement the local forecast.

Is it good to have local forecasts w/o music? That way people won't be distracted from the music and can easily gather their weather info.

To me the music is not distracting, but rather an enjoyable background sound. I would be against removing it.

It would be awkward without it.

We wouldn't have cravings for "what's this song" or unavailable music then

Trying to obtain unavailable music is fun though, even if you don't get what you want.

I dunno. I just have a lot of fun trying to obtain unavailable music.

Collecting hard to ifnd and unaiv music is difficult and tedious, but it is well worth it once you get it.

I prefer D flavors w/o music.

It's expecially great when you obtain the song yourself without any help from others.

Yep! I was only able to obtain unaiv songs by myslef from Mark Krurnowski and an undisclosed artist

There have been a few unavailable or otherwise hard to find songs I've been able to find on my own, but most of the songs I find come from the help of others.

Vic, if you can't share, don't bother bringing it up.

At 1:58 AM ET a local forecast played with no music. Maybe TWC is listening to you, Vic.  :o

instead of a local forecast without music, A Local forecast without annoying narration would be much more fitting

I listened to one of those in Lake Tahoe. It was a 1 minute 30 sec flavor and no music came but only narration
