"AltoStratus" Eddie Reasoner / Sept. Playlist
« on: August 17, 2008, 11:53:12 PM »
Eddie Reasoner just informed me that a new song "AltoStratus" will be airing on the September playlist on TWC.  He should have a preview listed soon on his website: http://www.eddiereasoner.com - the songs are under the music tab along with previews, all of his great weather channel hits are there and I heard that they are all available for a .99 download.  Complete hi resolution Mp3 versions! Yea!   I even found Mountains of Unaka there!   Hope he gets the new song up soon and I also heard that if you request the songs the weather channel people will consider adding to their monthly playlist.

Hope this is of interest to all you Eddie Reasoner fans like me!

J

I guess I ought to add Mr. Edwards to the artists group, eh?

I apologize for not doing so sooner Mr. Edwards. I did not know who you were and you did not identify yourself.  B)

Re: NashAngeles Music -  thats my Dad, Jack, I'm Jackson Jr.   and yes I'm a big Eddie Reasoner fan,  I love his music from the Weather Channel to all his songwriting and singing....I think he is going to be as popular as many top writers today.  His voice and melodies are as strong as any artist I've heard.  I went to the Norris Theatre and saw him live.....he got two standing ovations for his original songs which he sang and performed solo at the piano, I even requested he do "RainDance" from TWC and he did! The audience went nuts....they loved the songs.....so I haven't heard this new song "AltoStratus" but he told me it has a interesting melody and is upbeat.  I know he's been working in the studio both in Nashville and Los Angeles lately, plus New York too....Dad said his music is really becoming popular since they got the website up but also said they plan on putting lots of songs on the site.   Anyway, thanks for such a great site......I looked for a board on Weather.com but I couldn't find one is there one?  Thanks Jack

Unfortunately the TWC Messageboards have been gone for 3 yrs now .. there were a lot of weirdo nut-jobs who ruined it for the rest of us. However there are two premier sites to feed all your TWC fan-related needs, this one (twctodayforums.com) which covers TWC related stuff since 2000  and TWCClassics, which covers TWC from 1982-1999 (www.twclassics.com) Welcome to the forums! I am a longtime TWC fan and music collector, myself.

Yeah the TWCMB's been gone for awhile now. It's a shame, but that's what happens when the administrators don't do their job and let things get out of hand

But as Chuck said, there are other options now, but of course I'm biased in favor of this site! Though others apparently find it to be a premier advertising medium as well.
