Title: WxSTARs Below the 3000: Has anyone ever recorded one?
Post by: WeatherSTAR on March 13, 2011, 12:41:02 AM
I've never heard of a I or II being put on TWC Classics or just being plain recorded. Is there anyone in the world who has?

Actually, I do.

http://www.twcclassics.com/video/local-forecast/weatherstar-3000/ (http://www.twcclassics.com/video/local-forecast/weatherstar-3000/)

The first video is from the I and the second is from the II.

They made modifications to the hardware of the STAR I and II (which became III). The layout of the information on each page was controlled at TWC, thus I don't think there's a way to say for sure which unit you're seeing based on the output (but a good guess based on the date/year).

I think we can guarantee that it wasn't the III in 1983.  :)

I Checked. The first is a I, the second is a II. But can't you make a WxSTAR I & II page on the local forecast page on TWC Classics???   :hmm:

I won't make a separate page for a single video, but I will make it clear that they are I and II videos.
