Have we ever figured out who did the Popcorn song in this clip, which was on TWC back in the 80s? It can't be Hot Butter's version as I've sampled that version on iTunes before.

Are you talking about the 1969 version or the 1972 version?  There are multiple versions of the same song listed there, including the cover versions.
