Russ Freeman/The Rippingtons

Was Russ Freeman not in some of The Rippingtons songs? I thought he was the lead guitarist, but the reason I ask is because while most of The Rippington's album say "Russ Freeman and the Rippingtons," but some others such as 20th Anniversary and Wild Card say simply "The Rippingtons."

Since you mention their 20th anniversary album it makes me think that perhaps newer releases of them from dont have the branding since they have had a lot of featured artists such as Eric Marienthal included

I have 2 of their CDs. "Tourist In Paradise", (1989) and Weekend In Monaco, (1992). I love the music on both!

He also had his own solo album "Drive", which debuted in 2002.  I like the group's music, though. Of the classics, my favourites are "Sahara", followed by Moonlighting.

You got that title wrong. There's no "now" on the end of the title. It's simply, "Where The Road Will Lead Us", which is track #9 on the album, "Weekend In Monaco".
