Hey guys.....I have searched HIGH and LOW for this.....But I remember it so vividly.....I know for a fact it was April 1991, (Late April I think)... there were severe storms raging in the plains, it was evening time anywhere between 7 and 10 pm ish, and the local forecast came on with music (as usual) but I cannot find this tune anywhere, but it's in my head so clearly. It seems I did hear it twice. Both times in the evening....There were no technical difficulties going on during that time. I don't have anything other than that to go on.

Welcome to the forums! Scroll through the local forecast music playlists and listen to the previews offered for each song on Matt's TWC Classics site to see if you can find your song:
http://www.twcclassics.com/music/local-forecast-playlists/classic/ (http://www.twcclassics.com/music/local-forecast-playlists/classic/)
You'll need to check the September 1990 playlist if you're positive that you heard it in April 1991. Check the May 1991 playlist as well in case your memory missed it by a month.

Holy Crap.......I just spent another 2 hours going through the songs to see if I could hear it. I knew the by the first couple of seconds if it was it and I found it. It's called Limelight by Spyro Gyra!......Prior to that I checked the May 1991 songs and didn't hear it. Thanks

Welcome to the forums :) I am so glad you found it!

It's called Limelight by Spyro Gyra!
Really? Wow. That was used in '89, not '91.
Anyway, glad you found it. :D

"Limelight" carried over into 1990 but didn't show up on playlists (that I know of). On a VHS recording I have it played in the month of June as a "J" flavor.

I believe "Limelight" was on the Prime Time Tonight playlist until it was discontinued late in the summer of 1991.
