Wow, its not there yet? I'm thinking this would be nation wide, but I recalled a post on here where the postee stated that all cable companies couldn't afford that upgrade so some are still on the earlier versions of intellistar, even the weatherstar 4000. Guess I have a lot to learn huh? Other than that, this update is much more, sleek and eye popping than the last one. The last one had all the eyecandy this one has, but it seemed cluttered to me, plus,  Jim Cantore is narrating, now cool is that?!

This makes me wonder if that once Brighthouse gets TWC HD here if theyll have the IS2.. since they are a branch of TWCable and a lot of TWCable headends have been getting their IS2s as of late

Wow, I guess I'm pretty fortunate to have gotten the IS 2 so soon in Louisiana. I'm very used to it now, but you'd have to think that Dallas would be higher in priority than Lafayette, LA. The IS 2 really is nice, though. It complements TWC's new on-air graphics well.

@TWCFAN68 I love it now that they don't do it to where the HD channel shows the entire US vs. Local on the SD channel. Nice Job TWC, now the only issue they need to fix is their programming. -_____-

I reported awhile back that Arlington had gotten the IS2.

For those of us that live in the Tarrant County area and Grand Prarie have Arlington listed as the city on the Local forcast on the IS2.

The four cities that are listed on the Arlington IS2 are Arlington, Bedford, Grand Prarie, and Grapevine.

Do you know what cities are listed on the lower display line during regular programs when it shows the forcast for the next day on the Dallas IS2?

Umm,
Dallas, Mesquite and Addison only
Not even Richardson (most of Richardson is in Dallas County)
But i kind of understand, it would be too much I guess.
It's strange now that I think of it though....

Nick, if you don't mind me asking, do you live in North Dallas or South Dallas? Because I find it interesting how on the local observations map on the IS2 video you posted doesn't have Dallas centered and shows cities only to the north of Dallas and Fort Worth.

Is the IS2 so "area-sensitive" that it can show different cities on the maps for different areas in a specific city (i.e. north and south)?

It might have to do with service area as well

Possibly. It just seems like an error, though. Every other IS2 video I am watching seems to have the "main city" centered within the observations map.

You mean the Marine Forecast? Or is there something else that I'm not aware of? I get the Marine Forecast where I am, so if there's something that involves the coast, I may be able to get it.

Do you mind posting a picture or video of that? I'd like to see how it looks on the IS2. Thanks. :)
