Yes it is. I think it'll be out of beta once it is available nationwide, probably by next year, but we don't know for sure.

It seems the majority of cable companies except for Comcast have the IS2 installed for their select headends. Anyone know if comcast plans to roll out the IS2 next year?

It might be awhile because other Comcast Headends would have to Convert to Digital in order for the IS2 to be compatible.

But other cable companies have not transitioned yet they have the IS2 :unsure:

Thats what i got from the reply i posted earlier "First Half 2011" and i can't explain why other Carriers have the IS2 earlier than Comcast i wish i knew the answer to it.

Ok, so I haven't been keeping up with TWC as I used to but this morning as I'm walking through the living room my dad had it on and I looked at the LOT8s and I thought "That's different" I checked and sure enough we got the IS2!!  :dance: I just checked my recordings for the LAT48s and I captured it so I'll have some video of mine up soon!

Fully...there are no analog channels...you hook up an antenna, you get nothing.

Thats OTA... how about when you hook your comcast line directly into your TV with no box? do you get channels?

Insight Cable here is completely digital. No Analog channels at all and need a cable box now to get channels. I highly doubt we'll get the IS2 anytime soon though since we still have the XL lol.

Comcast here in Pleasantville is also all Digital. They eliminated their analog stuff last year and just recently got TWC HD added to our lineup.
