They've always been showing that on the midday shows even since WC full control was discontinued. It's not used often, though. I see it maybe once every week or two.

I saw that too. The lf started at 9:16 EST. Way too early.

In addition at :26 past, they played the song "shine on you crazy diamond" by Pink Floyd during a "vacation city forecast" segment.

Sharon brings up a good point: a lot of younger kids are on spring break right now. I wonder if that explains the many absences at TWC this week. Then again, some of the people who are off (like Steph) don't have any kids to begin with, but most do, I think.

She actually does fairly frequently Wed-Fri as long as someone else is off and Dave can't work the spot. (either because he's off or working some other shift that particular day)

I know, yet another failure on the programming director's part. Since they already committed to airing long-form tonight, they have to stick with it no matter what unless the programming director (who obviously doesn't care to step up when it's needed) changes his/her mind.
