Tropical Storm Oscar
« on: October 03, 2012, 04:21:29 PM »
A new tropical depression has formed way out in the Atlantic today.  It doesn't pose any threat to land based on NHC's track, but it could become Oscar.  However, it only has a short window of opportunity to earn a name before it gets sheared apart.

Update:  Tropical depression #15 is now tropical storm Oscar with winds of 45 mph.  It'll be absorbed by a cold front in a couple days.  I see no one cares about the tropics these days. :P
