I'm new at this and on the Download and Keys page it says "Your key has not been created yet, install the emulator and select 'Get My Key'." I installed the emulator and I cannot find the GMK selection. Where do I need to look for the GMK selection? :dunno:

When you first open the program, please make sure that you click "Yes" on the Key Required window. From there, you will see your Hardware Fingerprint, a place to enter your name, and a place to enter your key. Below are three buttons. Press "Get My Key". Once you press that, you will be taken into the CINE login portal screen. From there, enter your information and then, copy the key that is provided, and then press "Enter My Key". You will be returned to the original menu for entering your key. Enter your CINE ID by the "Name" field and paste your key by the "Key" Field, then press "OK". A dialog window from there should pop up saying the key is valid and has been stored.
A could of prerequisites go along with this, too:
- Make sure you have extracted the April 2012 release after installing the main setup.exe file
- Make sure you have CINE configured properly for your area, specifically the "Your Local Forecast" product
- Make syre you have entered your CINE ID into the setup.exe dialog box and click "Save"
Hopefully this helps Jim! :)

I've set my all of my configs, but when I open the emulator, it loads to the local radar map loading screen, then the screen turns black and I get the following message (attached to this post.)
Did I forget to set a key or something?

That isn't related to your key at all. Did you download and extract the April 2012 release and copy those 5 images from the zip file into your main folder in C:\wsxl?

I did all that, but I'm still getting that same runtime error when I run the emulator. Is there anything else I need to do?
EDIT: Never mind, I think I got it to work now. Thanks Zach

I didn't want to be rude by posting in your topic, but nor did I want to make a new thread, but how is this issue addressed?
-
Donovan, what OS are you running?
-
Windows 7 Professional 64bit. (Windows Classic Theme Enabled)
-
Donovan, This program was written in VB6, which only supports 32bit. I do not have a machine that runs 64bit to try this out on. If any one else has any insight or compatibility notes, please advise!
By the way, this is a "new issue". I would usually suggest creating a different thread.

Darn. That's a bummer. Thanks for the info, though. :hmm:

It would help if you read the forum (https://twctodayforums.com/forums/news-and-updates/new-users-may-create-new-accounts!/msg169618)! ;)
