Title: Key error
Post by: Jonathan on May 03, 2009, 02:39:58 PM
I'm not sure if I missed something here...

- I reinstalled the emulator
- I extracted the March 09 zip into C:\wsxl
- I set my affiliate
- it says my key has expired
- "Get My Key"
- copy and paste w/ name 7oa
- "The name/key you have entered does not appear to be valid. Please try again."

I have no idea what's going on. Do I need a new key? I left the emulator alone for ~1-1/2 months, if that's the problem. :dunno:

And don't bite if I missed something. <_< I saw a different thread on this, but it gave me NO info I could really understand. :dunno: :dunno:

I also have the same problem. I haven't used the emulator in bout a month because I've been really busy, but the same thing happened to me as well. Should I send either you or Martin my CINE login as well so you can see what's up? Thanks..

I'm sorry to bump an old topic, but this is what is happening;
When I start the emulator it tells me my key has expired, and I click get key and enter that key and the emulator continues to tell me the Key has expired.

I just recently received a key too and im getting the "The name/key you entered does not appear to be valid. Please try again." When i click 'get my key,' i login to CINE and it shows my username 'farkas' and get my key.  I copy it with out any spaces before and after, then click enter my key and the emulator starts up, and says updating, but then goes into a 3 screen loop of the title slate, my personal message slate, then a slate that says local weather unavailable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. also if you need to contact me my aim and yahoo is in my profile.

it appears as though you figured out your issue because your emulator is 'polling home'. please detail your issue and how you resolved it so others can learn how to solve issues similar to yours.

I am now having a key error. The program was working but now says that my key is not valid when it is valid.
