This one will need to be looked into a little. <_<
NWS Zone ID: FL051
Area: Tampa Bay

I bet Martin and Brian are just thrilled to have you around. :P

~sigh~ This is NOT an error!
If the IS or XL fails to receive data it displays temporary unavailible. The emulator is doing the same thing. There was a problem downloading new data.
It is one of two problems:
1. If you are using vista you need to make sure you run as admin.
2. A network hickup somewhere on either your computer or the source of the emulators data.
I should also add that I think everyone should be grateful this emulator is public in the first place. Frowny smilies are not welcome and I ask that people keep more of a positive attitude with the emulator. Remember I can disable anyones account if I deem it is needed

And so does this error (pay attention to the STAR ID ;)). <_<
-
I'm getting the exact same error.

Well, it could be that my Antivirus has expired, but my STAR ID is mine again.

What's strange is that I can get the 2 sample configs to work, but not my own.
-
Refer to my previous post
Likely a source was down

Ok lets get this straight. THIS IS NOT AN EMULATOR OR CONFIG PROBLEM! There settled. :whack: If this doesnt go away in about 1-2 hrs then post here
-
This problem is still occuring here. I've tried making changes to everything in my config at least once, and the problem persists. I checked the folders and the radar, satellite, and maps download fine. And I checked all the airports I set for my CC, and all the observations are up to date. I'm not sure what is missing. It isn't my connection, because I can still get Martin and Brian's sample configs to run. I'm starting to wonder whether my boating forecast ID is screwing things up. It's the only thing I'm a little unsure about..
-
I think there is a source problem since you and Chris both have issues. Ill get back to you later tonight on the issue

Yes, the problem has to be the source. But I've checked everything, and it seems alright. (Although I'm not entirely sure where you get the extended forecast from)
Thank you so much Martin for all that you're doing! :twothumbs:

IDK what else, but I have a confirmed problem to where my Boating and Extended forecasts are not accepted.
Stephen, Martin says that this is a Florida issue only, are you having this issue, too?
-
And the problem was a user error. Make sure your Boating and Extended forecast ARE FOR WATER AREAS NOT LAND.
Instruction are given in the config. Read the carefully
