23°F Freezing rain/drizzle/mist (whatever you want to call it :P)

Temperatures fell rapidly within the past couple of hours, and a thin layer of ice is already accumulating on surfaces such as cars, trees, bridges, and overpasses.

Cloudy and 6 °F.  Feels like -13 °F.  Winds N at 17 mph.  Snow is happening in the vicinity.  A Wind Chill Advisory is still in effect.  Snowfall today amounts to 1.7".  :snow:

The goose egg's in my future tonight according to all indications.  I've never seen anything like this in March before.

17°F snow and freezing fog

The snow will be tapering off within a few hours. Originally forecast to bring us a foot or more of snow just two nights ago, we wound up getting only about 3-4 inches. Gotta love transition seasons and how poorly predicted winter storms can be as a result. :P

Cloudy and -1 °F(!).  Feels like -11 °F.  Winds NNW at 5 mph.  Bitterly cold.  A Wind Chill Advisory is still in effect.

This is the first subzero reading I've seen this winter, and it's March if the calendar can be believed.

19°F Cloudy

Yesterday, it was 64°F, but the temperature has just fallen from there. :(  The total snowfall for today was 1.1", so the seasonal total is up to 28.2" now.

52º Overcast

My area's under yet another High Wind Watch from tomorrow night through Thursday morning. I've been under way too many high wind watches and warnings this season.   Is it summer yet?

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

55 Degrees and Mostly Clear. Today was the beginning of a very nice stretch of weather for the week ahead. Highs will be in the mid 70's through late week with minimal chances of cloud cover or precipitation. After the horrible ice storm we went through just a few weeks ago and the week-long rain event we just had, I'd say it's well deserved!

PS: Hello everyone!
