Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

30.°8F Clear
WC: 24°F

There was a delay in the timing of the cold front, it was modeled to be here around this morning, but it didn't arrive until mid afternoon. The RAP model did show the arctic front slowing down though. Ever since it swept through temps have been steadily dropping from our high of 60°F today. There was even a 10 degree drop in dewpoint (18° to 8°) earlier this evening at KATL. :o

14°F Partly Cloudy

Another Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for tonight into tomorrow morning.  There is hope on the horizon for some moderation by the end of this week.

16°F Partly Cloudy

The high this afternoon was only 21°F, and the low dropped to 0°F this morning.  It is the fourth time that the temperature has fallen to 0°F or below, and it may happen again tomorrow morning.

The snowstorm yesterday surprised me entirely by dumping 3.1" of snow, and the snow-to-liquid ratio was about 34:1 as only 0.09" of liquid came out of that snow.  The season snowfall total is up to 6.6" now.  I am already sick of this winter and wishing for spring to arrive soon. :(

32.8F Snow

Going to be an awesome next 10 days here. Multiple storm threats. 6-12" today, another 4-8" Wednesday and the posibility of a historical winter storm next Monday which the GFS/GGEM/Euro have all been honking about.
