70°F Cloudy

While it may not have rained in Blacksburg, VA today, more flooding is occurring elsewhere.  Poor Roanoke, VA got slammed with a new rainfall record of 3.88" yesterday, and 3.37" of it came within one hour!  It looks like the city will get more rain tonight when they absolutely don't need it.  Both Roanoke and Blacksburg have had the wettest start to a year in recorded history.  Here are the rainfall climate statistics as of now:

Blacksburg, VA
Since July 1:  5.32"  (3.87" above normal)
Since June 1:  13.26"  (7.81" above normal)
2013 So Far:  35.13"  (12.34" above normal)

Roanoke, VA
Since July 1:  10.32"  (8.91" above normal)
Since June 1:  16.81"  (11.57" above normal)
2013 So Far:  37.35"  (15.41" above normal)

Is it ever going to stop? :(

71°F Mostly Cloudy

Rivers are now flooding east of the Blue Ridge in Virginia.  Danville, VA picked up 4.43" of rain last night with 2.01" of it occurring in just an hour.  There was even a report of up to 7" last night not far away in that region.  I think my area is now the wettest in the entire country.

73.3°F Rain

I was hoping we can stay above 70°F tonight to keep the 70°F+ streak going but with the much needed rain that is falling, looks like we'll drop into the upper 60's for the first time in weeks.

92.0°F Partly Cloudy
Dew Point: 75.6°F
HI: 104.3°F

Did hit 98°F, but that was because my sensor was poorly placed, so moved it to a new place.
