40.3°F Clear/Windy

Red Flag Warning expired. Temps are going to be cold tonight. NWS has us down to 25°F, likely to break the record low of 29°F. Could even break the all-time monthly record low at KISP where they are closer to the radiational cooling zones and could drop below 23°F, which is the coldest April temp ever. Might even stay above freezing like the last night because of the strong winds. Hopefully this will be winter's final blast.

Well, the rain that arrived yesterday quickly turned into heavy snow due to dry air and evaporational cooling.  Unfortunately, this forecast was a complete bust.  My area was the epicenter of this storm as 5.4" of snow fell, which puts the total at 27.9" for the season.  After having the fourth coldest March on record, Blacksburg will now have at least the third snowiest April on record.  I sure hope that it's the end of winter as I'm completely worn out now. :bang:

My area isn't under this, but Astoria and the coastline south of the town is under a high wind watch from tomorrow evening through Sunday at noon PDT.

Didn't get a chance to comment on this back on Thursday, but it was freaking COLD, Rainy, and Windy that day, if it had of been 5-10 degrees colder it most likely would have been snowing instead. We were stuck in a cold wedge of 40s the whole day.

Right now it's 58 and partly cloudy. Spring wx looks to be staying for a while with our first 80 degree day possible on Tuesday which only means one thing: TIME TO BREAK OUT THE SHORTS, FLIP FLOPS, AND SHADES!  B)
