23.8°F Mostly Sunny

We'll be lucky to see even an inch tomorrow. This pattern really sucks. It's cold and dry then warm and wet. At least we got some snow Monday to make everything white in time for the cold spell. But the models aren't even hinting at any potential snow storms. Seems a lot like last year.   :bang:

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

-1° Light Snow/Blowing Snow/Breezy

Temperatures climb to near freezing by Monday before falling back to sub-zero highs by midweek.

Seems like Craig and I are having opposite patterns - he is seeing a warm pattern with cold shots, and over here, a cold pattern with warm shots.

50° with winds N at 7 mph.  The claim is that it's partly cloudy, but I bet that's only up to 12,000 feet.  It looks cloudy to me.

A total of 1.9" of snow fell today, so it's up to 9.1" for January and 11.6" for this season.

22.3°F Light Overcast (See through the clouds)

Beautiful sky after 1.3" of snow we had earlier. Brings the snow depth back up to two.

Well I hate to admit it, but...TWC was right about today's wintry event or lack thereof. It was an absolutely EPIC FAIL, twice within a one week time-span a wintry event never materialized.  :( However, I'm ok with this one busting since it was an ice situation unlike the one last week which was a rain to snow scenario, but still it's somewhat disappointing to keep getting the screw job. I was hoping to at least see a few sleet pellets if nothing else. Maybe third time's the charm I guess.

Currently: 42 degrees w/ Cloudy skies.
NW and NE winds shifting to the SE and ESE gradually began eroding our cold wedge in the metro area, shooting us from the low 30s this morning to the mid 40s earlier this late afternoon.

46° and foggy, with winds NE at 3 mph.  This is some cold front, and they say it's coming back north as a warm front.
