41, Overcast DP 37

Some light precip is pinwheeling back in, I wouldn't be surprised to hear reports of wintry mix occurring over the next hour. That cold air from the ULL is flooding right in here from the SW.

38.3°F Overcast

No snow, too much virga. Gonna be another couple months of nothing. Maybe the stratospheric warming can increase the heights over the north pole and Greenland so we can see a -NAO/-AO. A -NAO is all that we're missing now.

29°F Cloudy

As of 5 PM EST, the stalled front and snowstorm have combined to give a 4-day total of 4.85" of precipitation.  Our drought is basically done for now.  Later at 6:52 PM EST, I measured 7.0" of snow at work.  At one point, the snow was coming down at a rate of 1.5" per hour, and we clearly had heavy snow for a couple hours based on the definition itself.  Some areas in the mountains got up to a foot with some insane snowfall rates. :snow:

Black ice is possible tonight which is why the Winter Weather Advisory is scheduled not to expire until tomorrow morning.

A cold front passed over Daytona Beach today, and our temperature fell 30° in 12 hours, and it's still dropping.  Not only that, but the pressure has risen dramatically, and, as a result, I spent most of the day in bed suffering from an agonizing headache.
