Downdraft front just passed after having wind gusts of 25-35mph, now the wind is calm now that we are in an updraft.

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

Summer apparently doesn't exist up here or just doesn't care to visit.

44 and Mostly Cloudy at the moment. Low of 33 tonight with a decent chance for some frost.

71° Overcast,Breezy. Last night TD Beryl passed and left quite the amount of rain. There wasn't a time after 9PM that I woke up to hear heavy rain and at 4AM it was coming down in torrential downpours. Earlier (1-2hrs ago) the rain tapered off leaving cloudiness. Later today some afternoon thunderstorms possible with much clearing. Doppler radar estimated 1.9" fell here, much less than expected, but areas within 20miles had over 5".

74°F Thunder

We're getting our own share of rain here.  And the sky keeps looking different every hour.  About a couple of hours ago, it was very dark.  Then the sun came out, and now it's dark again. :P

EDIT: Now the sun is out, and it's raining!  I can't see a rainbow, though. :hmm:

60 Mostly Sunny. Absolutely no wind, which is rather strange for this part of the country.
