It was in the lower 80s today! And lower 80s are forecast for the rest of the week! I LOVE Winter Storms...unfortunately we didn't get any this winter. But this recent burst of warm weather has me craving some good ole severe weather!! Bring it on!!

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

84° W/ Partly Cloudy skies. I saw many cumulus congestus clouds trying to become thunderstorms, but not making it. I see on radar that it's officially the start of the Summer/Spring daily afternoon showers.

We reached our max high of 81 today, making this the first 80 degree day for 2012. We were 1 degree shy of tying the record of 82 set back in 1989.

We tied the record high of 81 set back in 1973 today at Hartsfield Int'l. With some daylight hours still left, we'll most likely break that record within the next hour or so.
EDIT: Record broken as temp reached 82 at 2:52pm ET
