The first winter-like cold front of the season is moving through Florida, and what a change it's made! Our temperature right now is 57° in Daytona Beach, 20° colder than what we've been experiencing lately, which has been, actually, a little above average. Our low tonight is supposed to be in the lower 40s.
I'm eternally grateful that there's no snow, which my hometown in Massachusetts is expecting this weekend. On the other hand, I also didn't come to Florida to shiver. Nearly 30 years of living in northern climates has been erased by three years of living in Florida, and I can't tolerate anything colder than 68° anymore...
