Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

38.5°F Overcast

Slowly loosing my snowpack
I'll take your  and give it a
:P

31°F with a few clouds and breezy.

There have been a few on and off flurries throughout the day, and a brief snow event overnight will bring about an inch or so. Outside of piles left by snow plows, the roads and grass here are pretty much free of snow after being well above freezing for five days.

I'd rather have a snow covered ground rather than dead grass and and dirt anyday.

13°F Sunny, feels like 3°F

I thought everything was all said and done with snow, but now we're supposed to get another snow/ice event on Monday.  :wall: :wall: :wall:

Oh believe me, Mike.  I know how you feel.

Right now, it's a pleasant 63 degrees and sunny.  Come Sunday, the high will only be 21 degrees, with freezing rain and sleet likely.

And before you say anything Tavores, I live in the south.  Winter should be done here! :P

Also, here's a snapshot from the Oklahoma Mesonet of the current temperatures across the state as of now.  Look at the difference!

Actually I would have told you since you live in the South, you're lucky to even have a Winter. Your winter should have been gone after Groundhog Day.

Frankly, I view spring not as a season but rather a transition point between winter and summer.  Look at what happened to me last year:  I got 5.4" of snow on April 4, and the high was only 39°F.  However, winter abruptly ended the next day when it jumped to 57°F and all the snow melted, and it climbed even higher to 83°F by April 10.  The highs would never drop below 50°F until October 24.

Currently:  32°F Cloudy

Today's High:  38°F
Today's Low:  11°F

2014 Precipitation:  5.63"
Winter Snowfall:  27.1"

35°F and Clear

A winter storm watch is in effect for Sunday night-Monday's storm. Originally forecast to be a mix changing to snow, the track has since been shifted southward, so we're looking at a mostly snow event now. As such, our snowfall totals have increased from 4-6" to 8-12". To make matters worse, I've been seeing reports that another winter storm is possible March 21-22. If this below average pattern continues into summer I'm so done. <_<
