... ENHANCED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY...

A LARGE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE PUSHING DOWN FROM THE NORTH WILL BRING VERY DRY AIR AND GUSTY WINDS TO THE REGION TODAY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL BRING AN INCREASING THREAT FOR RAPIDLY SPREADING WILDFIRES LATER THIS MORNING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS.

A NORTH TO NORTHWEST WIND OF 10 TO 15 MPH IS EXPECTED TODAY, WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS TO AROUND 20 MPH. RELATIVE HUMIDITY LEVELS ARE FORECAST TO DROP TO AROUND 20 PERCENT OR LESS THIS AFTERNOON. WITH THE RECENT DRY CONDITIONS, THERE IS A HEIGHTENED CONCERN FOR WILDFIRES TODAY.

THE FORECAST WIND SPEEDS FOR TODAY FALL JUST BELOW THE RED FLAG WARNING CRITERIA FOR NEW JERSEY, DELAWARE AND MARYLAND. AS A RESULT, NO WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED. HOWEVER, THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL CONTINUE TO CLOSELY MONITOR THE SITUATION.

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PITTSBURGH PA
618 PM EDT MON MAR 23 2009

...FIRE THREAT WILL CONTINUE EARLY THIS EVENING AND TUESDAY...

VERY DRY AIR HAS MOVED OVER THE UPPER OHIO VALLEY. RELATIVE
HUMIDITY READINGS WERE STILL BELOW 20 PERCENT AS OF 6 PM WITH
NORTH AND NORTWEST WIND NEAR 10 MPH. FUEL MOISTURE VALUES ALSO ARE
VERY LOW.

THIS COMBINATION OF LOW FUEL MOISTURE AND VERY LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITY HAS RESULTED IN AN INCREASED FIRE THREAT WHICH WILL
CONTINUE UNTIL SUNDOWN...AT WHICH TIME FALLING TEMPERATURES WILL
INCREASE THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES.

DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ON TUESDAY WITH WIND EXPECTED TO VEER
TO THE EAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

I was getting the same thing, but it was a statement instead. FYI the source was here: http://forecast.weather.gov/showsigwx.php?warnzone=PAZ021&warncounty=PAC003&firewxzone=PAZ021&local_place1=Mount+Lebanon+PA&product1=Special+Weather+Statement
