I'm lucky that I only got rain out of it.  I can't imagine all the headaches that the rest of the country experienced with this storm.  Hope all of you stayed safe and warm!

In my area I think we've had at least one substantial snowstorm a week since the storm a day or two after Christmas.  No exceptions.  I've really had enough of this!  :cry3:

Surprisingly, my house hasn't lost power yet.  It goes out for no good reason in the middle of a calm and sunny day, but with all these snowstorms nothing's happened!  Amazing!

We're going to be out of school for three consecutive days due to this storm...can't remember the last time that happened. I am SICK of this thing and want to cry because temperatures will be below freezing through the weekend, and more snow is expected on Friday and then next week too. :furious:

Overall this was a very impressive storm, although Chicago fell shy of their all time record snowfall 20 inches is impressive nonetheless. Looks like I may see some wintry mix this morning before transitioning to all rain 2 inches today and tomorrow with temps holding in the mid to upper 30's gotta love it. Oh well at least it's a drought buster. I just wish at least 1/4 or 1/5 of that was in the form of snow like on the backside to make this even more worthwhile. It's extremely hard to get wraparound snow here because the NW winds dries what residual moisture that's around.
