Anywho, it looks like the east/southeast coasts might get in on the tropical action this weekend, as a disturbance sitting near the Bahamas looks like its oging to develop into Gabrielle and then be steered up the east coast by a high pressure system, also sitting just off the coast. This is something all us east coasters should definitley stay tuned to.

Yeah it has the potentially to develop into a tropical storm, or perhaps even a lower end hurricane, though it has yet to become at all organized.

The disturbance is starting to look healthier than it did the past few days. Convection is now starting to wrap around the western side of the circulation.

Yup I definitley think we could be looking at a tropical storm, if not a Cat 1 hurricane. If the current forecasted track holds true, this thing is going to come right up through the Chespaeake!
