I understand how you feel. You just get tired of it happening over and over and over again. I definately am not a fan of cold weather and winter.

If I didn't know any better I would think we were in an El Nino pattern again.This is a very interesting weather pattern were in this winter, the NAO has been so negative (turning slightly positive atm) for so many months keeping that Greenland blocking (deep troughs in the E. CONUS) in place that it's practically made La Nina none existent. December was supposed to be warm and dry here, it was the complete opposite, it was the 5th coldest December on record here. January looks to be following suit so far. I'm gonna look back at previous La Nina winters and see if there's an analog year similar to this one. Could be a lot of fun and games with the weather for the remainder of the winter. I'm still enjoying it!  :)

The Great Lakes/Midwest was supposed to get bombed with snow this season, with the EC seeing limited winter storms. Just goes to show us that long-range models can be way off.
