AccuWeather not so accu
« on: August 06, 2012, 11:25:29 PM »
A month or so ago, I upgraded Firefox. In the process, it disabled the weather.com extension because it was incompatible. So I replaced it with AccuWeather's extension. Maybe it's just my area, but their forecasting is awful! They regularly forecast thunderstorms every few days. Many with high probabilities. Their accuracy so far is about 0 in 50. :noexpression:

Anyone else use this? Is there a better one?

I would really recommend Wunderground but idk if they have a Firefox extension, however if it were me, I would really rely on your NWS forecast.
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

I always look at other sources. It's just nice having the forecast and conditions right there as I'm browsing.

Heh, Accuweather being accurate? I would rather take my chances on a dead possum laying in the road providing me an accurate forecast than Accuweather. All kidding aside, I would certainly recommend a much better weather service for FF if I knew any, but I don't since I don't use FF anymore anyway.
