It's been quite dry here as well since late July with no rainfall relief in sight. This dry spell is definitely turning to drought.  The outlooks are indicating average precipitation here but it remains to be seen.

The Old Farmer's Almanac seems to be more on point than the new one, I noticed the new Farmer's Almanac has been off base a lot this month, the old one has been fairly accurate with how October has played out, maybe their prediction of a Cold and Dry winter will hold up... :thinking:

NOVEMBER 2010: temperature 54 ° (1 ° below avg.); precipitation 1.5" (1.5" below avg.); Nov 1-2: Sunny, warm; Nov 3-6: Showers, cool

^ That is pretty much what everyone is forecasting the first week of November.
