Title: Mac version?
Post by: Mike M on November 11, 2008, 09:51:49 PM
Is it possible to create a MAC version of the emulator? I have one (in addition to my PC) and would use it if a Mac version were available. I'm not always at my PC and my laptop is a Mac.

since mac's have alot of power, the best suggestion i could give is installing windows xp inside a virtual machine on your macintosh.. if you needed to use the emulator that much, the virtual machine should be sufficient.

Yeah, a Virtual Machine should suffice if you have a Intel Mac. If you have a PowerPC Mac, then you're SOL because emulating XP on PPC is horrid.

Can't the program be ported over? I don't know what this program is written in, but in some instances, there are utilities that will take the code and convert it to work in a Mac.

From what I know, it's coded in VB6, so pretty much no chance of it getting a port.

You can also use Boot Camp if you have Leopard.

Mac Rocks!
