Title: How to Stream the Emulator
Post by: iPod on December 03, 2008, 04:39:35 PM
1) Find a server to stream on (ustream.com (http://ustream.com) for instance)
2) Download Webcam Max Here:  http://webcammax.com/writereview.php (http://webcammax.com/writereview.php)
3) Stream Away!

Unfortunately, Webcam Max isn't free.  However, if you post a review on your website, they will give you a free license.

Happy Streaming.  I'll have a stream up soon!

Take it easy. It's not like it totally fired your PC.

What's wrong if you use Camstudio or WME?

I don't think anything's wrong with that. In fact, camStudio would be my choice.

AFAIK, CamStudio isn't capable of live streaming, you can only record clips with it.

Another great program is Microsoft Expression Encoder which costs $$ but uh ask me about that and we could ~ahem~ anyway...
You can also try Microsoft Media Encoder too. Just an older version but its free.

I love VHScrCap, best screencap program out there, you just gotta learn how to use it with other programs ;p

Try http://www.superwebcam.com/ (http://www.superwebcam.com/) <- Super Webcam

I use it. And you can change your source to desktop then stream it.

Thanks for the recommendation, but that program can't stream audio. What do you recommend I use in conjunction with Super Webcam?

Do you need a webcam to stream with SuperWebcam, or can you stream your feed just like how you would with Media Encoder?

You do not need a webcam for screen capture on SuperWebcam :)

Okay, I'll see if I can get a stream and chat up on UStream soon, maybe on Tuesday if we end up getting a lot of snow.
