Title: Youtube and Google's Updated Privacy Policy
Post by: Mr. Rainman on March 01, 2012, 03:20:56 AM
As if they haven't collected enough information on us already. I guess the basic rule is, if you don't want to be tracked, don't be logged in.

I still don't understand the big deal. Google has been bombarding users across EVERY platform about these changes for many weeks and sending multiple emails. If you don't care enough to read the agreement then don't complain about Google "tracking you". Simple. All Google did was combine many different privacy policies and condense them into one that can be used across their services. Seems logical.

Well, you know how people like to scream about their privacy being invaded. I know quite a few friends who are leaving Youtube because they find it too "intrusive."

Nothing new here. Google has been stalking its customers for years. Why do you think they bought YouTube? If there was a better search engine, I would use it. And if YouTube wasn't such a great method to attract new visitors to my site, I'd stop using it as well.
