Title: What Type of Cell Phone Do You Have?
Post by: TWCToday on February 23, 2009, 12:25:37 AM: We have had similar topics about other related gadgets so I thought I would make one about cell phones! I'm curious to see what you all use. :thumbsup:

I currently use an iPhone 3g on T-Mobile. My first phone was a Blackberry 7250, then a Motorola Razr, then a T-Mobile Shadow.

If the iPhone was never invented I'd still be using my 8700g, such a good phone, except by now I probably would have upgraded to a Curve, plus I'd still be on T-Mobile!

Post by: skaloveexx33 on July 21, 2009, 09:34:14 PM: I got a Pantech Matrix with AT&T back in May,and I love it.Before,I had some free,red flip phone that verizon also has in blue..I was only in 6th grade at the time I got it,so it worked for the time being.Once I got into serious texting(and i mean ringing up a $360 cell phone bill in April due to texting),I decided i wanted a full keyboard phone.The matrix is kinda the combination of the Glyde and original slide Chocolate from verizon.It slides up,just like a chocolate,for a numberpad.Turn it sideways,and it also slides that way to get to the full keyboard.Anyway,I love the phone :D

well said. I used to have one of those prepaid tracfone phones as well. All I need them is to make important calls, that's it.

Neat someone like me :P

I use AT&Ts go phone plan (got it under Cingular) and originally had a Tracfone-like device (people at school accused it of saying it was a Tracfone device and it clearly had Cingulars logo on it after me showing it to them <_<). I use a Razr now

That is one of the limitations of the CDMA network that Verizon (and Sprint) use. CDMA (and EV-DO for 3G internet) do not allow simultaneous use of data and voice from one handset. When LTE is available on Verizon, those new handsets should solve the issue, for LTE is a GSM-based technology, which doesn't suffer from the inherit voice/data problem that CDMA has.

Yup. I'm on my second one and within the first month of having the phone you have to calibrate it daily or several times daily. Just wish my contract was up sooner than November. :thumbdown:

I've already been put on the pre-order list for the iPhone. (On February 3 at 12:01AM, I will automatically be pre-ordered.)

I bet some people act like that orange character is some of those phone commercials when a new phone comes out. :bleh:

Post by: beanboy89 on August 20, 2014, 09:44:16 PM: I recently picked up a second Windows Phone to play around with: the Lumia 635. Nokia makes really nice hardware, even in the low-end. Windows Phone 8.1 is great; it's a really polished OS, it just needs some more app developers.
