What time of the day does school start/stop for you?

I will start:
For me, school begins at 7:45 AM EDT (technically 7:50 AM, which is when the 1st hour begins) and ends at 2:22 PM EDT.

When I was in high school, in my first two years, school began at 7:30 and ended at 2:10. in my last two years, I start at 8:00 and ended at 3:01 (exception of senior year when I had to work, I ended at 4:30.)
College made life easier when I start at 10:15 every day. :)

School day starts (with homeroom) at 7:30 and ends at 2:26, except on Tuesdays when I stay until 4:00. I always get there by 7:05, so I just wonder around the big school chatting until 7:30.

8:30 until 2:40 -- i have 7th pd off, so everyone else who doesn't have off gets out at 3:35 daily.

Homeroom begins at 7:55am and ends at 2:00pm.

I leave home at 6:55 and reach school at 7:25 and I leave school at 2:05 usually reaching home at 2:40.

7:20- 2:05 for me. As a senior next year I wont be taking a full schedule (i hope) so most days ill get out at 12:30 :happy:

In Elementary school, in Newfoundland, we went to class from 8:30 to 3:30 both times Newfoundland Standard, which offsets about 30 minutes from Eastern daylight.

In Middle school, in Newfoundland, we went to class from 9:00 to 4:00.

In High School, Grade 9 and 10, we went to class from 7:00 till 2:00.

When my family moved to Crofton, we got started at 8:45 and ended at 3:45, also we had tutorials, which were 2 hours long. As you might know, that is in the Eastern time zone.

8:15 until 3:20.

On Wednesdays, we start at 8:25...but either way I'm there at 7 every day. ;)

Why do some of you guys have shortened hours during certain days of the week? I've never been to a school that is like that.

Well, it was that way for me at my elementary school and first middle school, and it still is. On Wednesdays, it would be a half day.
