Music Editing in WMV?
« on: August 27, 2007, 09:56:38 AM »
Can you edit the music in Windows Movie Maker? I have several emulator videos captured and am planning to put music into them but with the respective time in/time out of the songs played in the local forecast. For example I have Lanai by Hiroshima, and the music starts from :00 but I wanted on :08, the same time-in on TWC.

You can edit music in WMM, but it cant have video. It just has to be a mp3 or wma etc..

Getting the exact time in is VERY difficult sometimes. Just be sure to "zoom" all the way in to get it exactly the same.

On my WMV, the song starts at EXACTLY 10 seconds.

I have. I just slide the video clip into the sound slot. It works fine. Though, I believe it was in .avi.

For those interested...my username is derived from Tropical Storm Ernesto's Storm Alert fame. As most know, this was a ridiculous move by The Weather Channel, considering Ernesto was quite weak. The name is intended to be taken in a sarcastic tone.

I actually put the song in WMM and don't know how you cut to 10 seconds of it

drag the song into the 10 second mark, then drag it to the front

Using WMV, I've found the time in's for most songs I have. PM me if there's one you'd like to know.:)
