no i needed a new desk. Our old "desk" was just a mobile laptop cart. We had it preassembled for a hefty fee but the desk is large.

No offense, but it's getting kind of annoying when you complain that people have more money than you. It's pretty unnecessary. 

And yes, it is possible to save money, practically at any age.
